High ceiling converted to new bedroom with stair railing upgrade. Tract home style low walls have been upgraded to wrought iron and wood handrailing with curved balcony overlooking entry which remained as a high ceiling.

Let's avoid the boxed in look. This loft addition in Chino Hills has a new art wall arched niche feature with eyeball trim (awaiting artwork). This gave a nice recessed feature so that the bedroom wall was not towering over the entry.
