The loft addition experts in Aliso Viejo will be building a new loft with dormer addition soon. This vaulted ceiling will be converted into a bedroom. Access will be through the existing walk in closet.

Take a look at a loft addition within a vaulted ceiling that is just not high enough. You could get a tiny space under this low pitching ceiling, however adding a dormer over top of the loft is the next best and cost effective method of gaining a new bedroom and bathroom.

New closets are inside the lower section of the space. The dormer was used to gain full height over the bedroom space only. Cost effective.

Here is a peak into "during framing" and "after completion". This high ceiling conversion in Calabasas, California was more than just a loft addition. The space above became a large bonus room with a new bathroom and rear deck addition. The space below the addition was created to be an open concept living home with steel beam framing throughout.
