As a planning company in California, Truplans Inc recently received the news that single-family zoning is about to be abolished in our state. As a forward thinking company we decided to research this strange new bill signed by Governor Gavin Newsom just days after apparently winning his recall election.
Truplans is aware that these laws would increase our business as homeowners and developers begin to take advantage of the new laws. These people turn to our company to help interpret the new zoning laws, draw the plans and get the permits. While the new law would temp land owners and developers with opportunity, suburban California homeowners might be in for a rude awakening. We expect push back and I don't blame them.
