Your work order will specify how many design meetings are anticipated and included.
A. IN-HOME DESIGN MEETING - The in-home design meeting is the preferred method. Several TRUPLANS designers may be present for both construction design and interior design (if included). Average design meetings run about two hours each.
B. ONLINE DESIGN MEETING - Often times a project can be designed online using our 3D tools. Most of the time this online method is part of a package when multiple design meetings are scheduled. Design meetings are usually no more than two hours long.
3D LIVE EDITING BEFORE YOUR EYES
Larger projects will start out with a 2D model (floor plan layout with dimensions). Usually by the second design meeting 3D editing will be used to move walls, cabinets, windows and doorways for a visual understanding and your design. Some features and options take longer to render in the 3D model therefore a lot happens behind the scenes to finalize 3Ds and prepare the final plans.
