High Ceiling Conversion

This project is definitely not a 'traditional' high ceiling conversion. We typically set our sights on spacious open-to-below areas to build new rooms into. These kinds of projects yield great price to additional square footage returns! 

However, this home has a different story. There isn't a massive open-to-below to speak of. In fact, there's only a small opening above the front entryway. Many people wouldn't even consider this space to be worth converting, but they are typically looking for your average bedroom addition. 

What these homeowners needed is an office space - nothing large, but a dedicated area for work, specifically to conduct Zoom meetings. With that in mind, converting that emptiness above the entryway becomes a lot more enticing. 

These kinds of conversions are really where our design videos provide the most benefit. It can be quite tricky to envision this new space without some kind of visual aid. The first thought would be, "will I even be able to fit into this new office?". 

Thanks to this design video, you can see that there's just enough room for a person to comfortably fit in there, and that is all they need!
