San Marcos, CA Remodeler
San Diego County High Ceiling Conversion This project is definitely not a 'traditional' high ceiling conversion. We typically set our sights on spacious open-to-below areas to build new rooms into. These kinds of projects yield great price to additional square footage returns! However, this home has a different story. There isn't a massive open-to-below to speak of. In fact, there's only a small opening above the front entryway. Many people wouldn't even consider this space to be worth converting, but they are typically looking for your average bedroom addition. What these homeowners needed is an office space - nothing large, but a dedicated area for work, specifically to conduct Zoom meetings. With that in mind, converting that emptiness above the entryway becomes a lot more enticing. These kinds of conversions are really where our design videos provide the most benefit. It can be quite tricky to envision this new space without some kind of visual aid. The first thought would be, "will I even be able to fit into this new office?". Thanks to this design video, you can see that there's just enough room for a person to comfortably fit in there, and that is all they need! Orange County High Ceiling Conversion Giant, non-vaulted ceiling spaces provide so many possibilities regarding room additions and configurations. This home is spacious, but the family is ever-growing. What better way to address this issue than a room addition? This home will be receiving two new rooms with this remodel - an open loft hallway and a new bedroom with a closet! The amount of functional space gained here is absolutely invaluable to these homeowners. The new hallway will serve as a humble study or work environment, as well as an access point for the new bedroom. The new bedroom addresses the primary pain point of these homeowners - lack of livable, private space. In collaboration with our architectural design team and our video marketing team, we have produced a video that showcases these home renovation transformations in immaculate photorealism. These images really help sell the experience of what it is like to stand in these new spaces. The next step? The TRUADDITIONS team will begin construction, bringing these design ideas into reality! San Diego County High Ceiling Conversion Exciting changes are in this Oceanside home's future! That wasted space above the dining room is going to be repurposed into a cozy new open loft! While this family already has a media room downstairs, it has become fairly cramped and busy over time. This new loft space will serve as a second media room. With the existing windows in the high ceiling retained, it will give this new loft a nice overview of their surrounding neighborhood. This is invaluable for the homeowners. This added square footage provides this family with two gathering points, which results in both spaces being less crowded. While they do not intend to flip their home, the added space provides extra monetary value should they decide to sell later down the line! The downstairs dining room receives positive collateral from this high ceiling conversion as well! The new ceiling below acts as both a sound dampener and a reflective surface. This means that the dining room will have less echo AND be much easier to illuminate. These are key details that can easily fall to the wayside, but are nonetheless important. The functional and monetary gains of both the upstairs and downstairs areas cannot be overstated! This project is in the final design stages, with construction beginning soon! The CALOFT team cannot wait to begin bringing these home improvement ideas to life! Click the button below to stay tuned on this home's journey! Carlsbad, CA Remodeler
San Diego County High Ceiling Conversion This project is definitely not a 'traditional' high ceiling conversion. While our first instinct would be to convert the entirety of their vaulted open-to-below space into new rooms, our client had other plans. They need more room, but they want to retain their high ceiling. The idea is to expand their existing bedroom - the one closest to the entrance - further out over the entryway below. This is definitely a tricky solution, but our expert design team proved it not only possible but preferrable. The existing bedroom is fairly small, so being able to push the wall back further and be able to fit the bed in the nook makes an enormous difference. You don't have to take my word for it - just watch the video, where you can watch their existing bedroom nearly double in size, all while in motion! We can't wait to begin bringing these brilliant designs to life, and neither can CALOFT. To follow this home's dramatic remodeling journey, click the button below! Carlsbad CA Remodeler
San Diego County High Ceiling Conversion This home right here is a classic candidate for a high ceiling conversion, which is a special type of remodel that involves filling in a high ceiling with new rooms. In this case, this Carlsbad home will be receiving two rooms! The first will be a new open loft over the living room area, replacing the entire open-to-below space with something much more functional and valuable for the family! The other new addition is a bedroom, which is replacing the existing exercise room. While this portion isn't exactly a high ceiling conversion, it is still space that is repurposed to better fit the family's needs. Besides, the new open loft provides an excellent entry point for this new bedroom! Reading all of this is great, but how about you check out the video instead? You get to see these awe-inspiring changes occur in motion, morphing from the existing home to the proposed changes while moving through the space! Rancho Cordova, CA Remodeler
Sacramento County High Ceiling Conversion The TRUADDITIONS team is proud to present you their latest completed work in the Rancho Cordova area! This home just got a major upgrade in the form of an OPEN LOFT! The 360° viewer above documents the entire journey from start to finish: ✅ Before ✅ 3D Design ✅ After You don't just get to see the dramatic change - you get to experience it, too! Some people's primary concern is the amount of space gained being minimal with a high ceiling conversion. This is especially true if their high ceiling isn't huge and mansion-like. That being said, this home's open-to-below was more than adequate. It's a straight-forward, non-vaulted ceiling, and access to the new loft space was very simple to figure out. The results speak for themselves! This family gained a whole new open loft media room!

Sacramento County High Ceiling Conversion We're excited to present you the latest installment of TRULOFT Conversions! This Rancho Cordova home turned out absolutely stunning. It's a great example of what we do - convert empty high ceiling space into new rooms. There was no trickery here, and was about as straight-forward as it gets! This is good news for both us and the homeowners, as this means the budget and time to complete this project isn't very high. The result speaks for itself! These homeowners were presented with two options for their high ceiling conversion - an open loft or an enclosed bonus room. Our client opted for the former, and we feel this was the wiser choice. Keeping this new space open allows it to truly breathe and feel spacious. The experts at TRUADDITIONS really knocked it out of the park with this one. They've once again displayed why they are the retrofitting masters - the new room and floor space matches the existing environment flawlessly. If you didn't know any better, you would think this home already had an open loft built into it. Click the button below to follow this home's dramatic remodeling journey from start to finish! Santa Clara County High Ceiling Conversion We are excited to show off our latest TRULOFT CONCEPTS production! With the help of our expert design team, we were able to produce a video that conveys their brilliant design with absolute clarity! A new loft, bathroom, and bedroom with two design options is in the cards for this San Jose property. Extending the existing stairs up towards the front entrance proved to be the best solution for entrance into this new loft space. This new space could function as any number of rooms - media center, small office, etc. At the end of the day, it is still added space! Going beyond the new loft is a bathroom. The trickiest part of this loft addition was the inclusion of a bathroom. It was not part of the initial scope, but it was deemed both possible and sensible. With a new bedroom in the works, a new bathroom proves to be an excellent pairing. Speaking of which, we are also adding a new bedroom. This addition has two design options - one with a notched wall, and the other with the wall pushed out towards the open space above the stairs. This second option allows for the bedroom to gain just enough space to truly feel comfortable. Regardless of which one ends up being built, this bedroom will come with a new closet. The downstairs has an optional design to it as well. In addition to the new normalized ceiling that comes with all of our high ceiling conversion projects, we have provided an optional closet design, located behind the stairs near the front entrance. The homeowner isn't likely to go with this option, but it doesn't hurt to at least show what it would look like. This project is in the final design stages. We can't wait to begin constructing these design ideas into reality. If you would like to stay up-to-date on this project, then click the button below! |
